Senior Web Developer – Microsoft .NET, C#
RESPONSIBLITIES:
You will be leading developing cool apps for one super Social Networking site that is used to help people find jobs thru people they know. You will be an integral part of a small team that will be responsible for building Cachinko.com. You will need to execute work for the project schedules, epitomize team playing, stay current with latest technologies, research new technology solutions, and create/modify code (C#, .net, AJAX) as necessary to ensure that your projects stay on track. We are a start-up and looking for likeminded team members with an entrepreneurial spirit that are looking for a cool place to work and an awesome career experience. Ensure that projects meet quality and time estimates while conforming to defined development methodology, making suggestions and improvements to that methodology as appropriate. EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
* 5+ years prior software development experience with working knowledge of C#, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, HTML, DHTML, SQL Server 2005, ASP.net, .Net Framework 2.0 & 3.5, ADO.net, SSL, MS Enterprise Library.
* Familiarity with Internet based applications running on IIS/Windows 2003 Server in web farm environment.
* Proven experience building n-Tier websites in using the .NET Framework.
* SQLServer 2005 TSQL optimization required, knowledge of Integration Services desired
* Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
* Thorough understanding and experience delivering solutions through product development lifecycles (through phases of Product Management, Design, Development, Unit Testing, Integration, QA, Deployment and Maintenance).
* Extensive experience with AJAX is necessary.
* Experience with W3.org compliant CSS required.
* Ability to quickly understand concepts such as: multi-server caching environment, database clustering, building scalable applications for million+ user base, software design patterns
* Requires at least a 4-year college degree (Bachelor) in Computer Science. Candidates with a Masters degree desired. Cachinko will file TN-1 visas for all candidates to be hired for permanent full-time work for the Houston, Texas office.
